Where two rivers meet

Norfork sits at the confluence of the North Fork and White rivers — two of the best trout streams in America meeting at one small town. The Norfork National Fish Hatchery below the dam raises the trout that stock them both.

This is also the county's history: the Jacob Wolf House above town is the oldest public structure in Arkansas, built in the 1820s when this was the frontier. Life here is rivers, johnboats, and a slower clock.
