Quiet streets on the Bull Shoals shore
Lakeview is the Baxter County side of the Bull Shoals shoreline — a residential lake community with resorts and trout docks strung along Highway 178 where the White River leaves the dam. Gaston's, the most famous trout resort on the river, flies its guests into a grass airstrip here.
It's smaller and quieter than Bull Shoals across the water, which is exactly why people pick it: lake access without the seasonal churn, and Mountain Home's shopping and hospital fifteen minutes up the road.
