Hiking the Ozarks

Bluff overlooks, rocky glades, hidden waterfalls, hardwood forests that explode in October. The Ozark National Forest has trails for every skill level.

Sylamore Trail & Blanchard Springs

60+ miles of well-maintained singletrack from Allison to Barkshed. Side trips to Mirror Lake, Blanchard Springs, and the caverns.

Indian Rock House & White River Bluffs

Short loop, big payoff. The Indian Rock House cave is a 300-ft-deep natural shelter. Spring wildflowers are otherworldly.

Buffalo River trails

Hemmed-in Hollow has the tallest waterfall between the Rockies and Appalachians (209 ft). Centerpoint, Goat Trail, Whitaker Point ('Hawksbill Crag') — bring a camera.
